Largest
single Elektra mat is 133 s.
f. but more than one mat can be
used to cover more floor. Max. coverage is limited by total Wattage one
electrical circuit dedicated to heating one floor can safely handle.
220-240V mats can
cover twice of what 120V mats can. Mats rated 9Watts/sq.ft. are enough for comfortably warm
floors for most applications. 14Watts/sq.ft. can make the floor the only heat in
the room or are better for concrete slab. Heating results may vary and will
depend on the application, climate, and room and floor insulation.

Measure. Do not guess. This is
critical!
Don't order too much! Radiant floor heating is
only meant for open 'walkable' floor area. Not under cabinets, vanities, shower
stalls, toilets, kitchen islands etc. Mats cannot overlap! Mats
cannot be cut off to be made smaller, cutting is only meant to change the shape,
to make the mat to fit the open floor perimeter. It is better to get a bit
smaller mat than the one too big.
Following symbols represent 4 basic models of floor heating
products powered by way of either 110-120V or
230-240V:
two wires (very
slim)
or one wire
(slim mat)
