Whether it is remodeling of a bit outdated kitchen, converting the unused
basement to new family room to make your home better, spacier, more energy
efficient or merely replacing a bathroom fixture - millions of homeowners
undertake projects to increase the enjoyment of their home.
Home improvement
projects are one of the great American pastimes.
In the remarkable year 2001, half of which was tragically marked by the
events of 9/11, Americans still spent $214 billion to improve, repair and
maintain the nation’s 119 million homes. Total dollars spent on remodeling
accounted for a whopping 2.1 percent of the national economy. According to many
researchers, remodeling isn’t getting the recognition it deserves in sustaining
economy growth.

This is our small contribution to this phenomenon.
